Description

Like the House film, an experiment in communicating the feel of an architecture through the use of stills. This too becomes a celebration. The two churches are Vierzehneiligen and Ottobeuren, two beautiful German baroque churches. The score is a baroque score played on the organ at one of the churches. As with the House film, the transparencies were transferred to film by a special optical printer created by Eames staff member Parke Meek.
