Candace Compton Pappas is a media artist, performer, painter and sculptor. She grew up in Southern California before moving to Michigan. Pappas studied sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute and during the 1970s became involved in the Feminist Art Program in Los Angeles. Pappas currently resided in Michigan.
