Biography
Tom DeSimone is a director of cult, exploitation, and horror films. While enrolled in UCLA film school DeSimone won awards for his student shorts THE WOODEN LULLABY and THE GAME.
After graduating from UCLA DeSimone began work in the film industry as a post-production supervisor. He directed his first feature TERROR IN THE JUNGLE in 1968 before directing a selection of X-Rated films under the alias Lancer Brooks.
His 1977 film CHATTERBOX!, released by AIP, became a cult classic and led to projects including HELL NIGHT (1981), starring Linda Blair and REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS (1986).
